THE TEAM

THE TEAM

Chief cook and head bottle-washer for the Anglo American Shooting Society are Ken Duglan, a Brit, and Silvio Calabi, from the US. Between them, they have many years’ experience in organising and managing shoots, and also in easing newcomers into the unique culture of driven shooting. They stay with AASS members and guests from arrival to departure. In the field, they stand with the Guns, to maintain safety and also to help neophytes connect with fast, high-flying incoming birds.

KEN DUGLAN

As a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers, the British guild incorporated in 1637, for many years Ken owned and operated Atkin Grant & Lang Gunmakers and the Broomhills Shooting Ground, near St. Albans, in Hertfordshire. He is now part of Carl Russell & Co. Gunmakers, based at Hatfield House, north of London. Ken organises the shoots and curates the supporting events, tours and dinner parties.
